On April 26, 2018, at the Department of Bioengineering and Water of the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, students and staff of the department met with representatives of the holding company "Agrofusion". The presentation of the company's activities was presented by Katerina Pisarev, specialist in training staff, and Oleksandr Totsenko, a leading specialist.

The first company "Agrofusion" was founded in 2005. It became the farm "Integrated Agrosystems" ("Inagro") in the Golopristansky district of the Kherson region. The companies of the holding company "Agrofusion" are located in the south of Ukraine - in the Mykolayiv and Kherson regions. These are traditionally "tomato" regions.

Agroholding today is 10 departments, 30,000 hectares of irrigated fields, 2 greenhouses, 3 tomatoes and a team of 1,500 professionals.

Today, the company is a certified supplier for such companies as HJ Heinz, Unilever, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Mars Foods, etc.

It was for the job of such a company that graduates of the Department of Bioengineering and Water ONACHT invited. Work at such an enterprise will be interesting for the first experience of work - these are new modern technologies, new enterprises with modern automatic equipment and the possibility of internships abroad.

Head of the Department of Bioengineering and Water Kovalenko O.О. and Dean of the Technology Faculty of Wine and Tourism Business Sarkisyan G.O. discussed the possibility of conducting practices for students of all courses at the Inagro factories and cooperation in the field of training future specialists in conservation technology, drinking water technology and biotechnology.

Representatives of the company students and professors of the department actively asked questions regarding production technologies at the enterprise, about social and living conditions of work, career growth opportunities.

During the meeting, a group of students agreed to visit the enterprise during the seasonal production of tomato paste, namely in August-September 2018, and to conclude contracts for passing the practice.
